Immuna® Screening Platform
ESBATech’s novel, proprietary, repeatable antigen-independent screening platform, Immuna®, is used for the identification and selection of highly stable antibody fragments. Immuna does not exhibit any phage display. ESBATech develops highly-stable, single-chain antibody fragment (scFv) derived from proprietary fully human antibody fragment scaffolds. ESBATech is the only company that has successfully screened and characterized the entire pool (1.5 million) of naturally occurring antibody fragment frameworks (VH and VL domains). Via this process, the company has identified a number of next generation development candidates for indications with large unmet medical needs. These novel product candidates exhibit positive biochemical properties including, high stability, no aggregation and high solubility. ESBATech’s product candidates have been shown in preclinical studies to exhibit additional favorable pharmacokinetic properties such as a low risk for immunogenicity.
